Fatal Irwindale Motorcycle Collision near Stewart Avenue
IRWINDALE, CA (February 10, 2020) – An unidentified person was killed early Thursday afternoon in a truck and motorcycle collision on Live Oak Avenue.
The incident happened in westbound lanes of East Live Oak Avenue. Officers arrived near Stewart Avenue around 12:49 p.m.
At this time, details leading up to the accident are currently unclear.
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews pronounced one person dead at the scene, said Marvin Lim.
Crews on scene then shut down Live Oak Avenue between Baldwin Park Boulevard and Commerce Drive for a brief time during the investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
No further information has been released at this time.
