1 Dead in Puyallup Train Accident
PUYALLUP, WA (February 11, 2020) – A man died in an Amtrak train accident on East Pioneer in Puyallup on February 9.
According to reports, the train struck the man who was sitting on the tracks. Authorities received a report of the crash at about 8:45 p.m. in the 600 block of East Pioneer.
When the officers came, they located a man’s body nearby.
Investigators suspect that the victim had been sitting on the tracks and was under a sleeping bag when he got hit.
The train occupants didn’t suffer any injury.
