San Jacinto, CA (July 19, 2024) On Thursday morning, a motorcyclist was killed and another motorist was hurt in a tragic traffic collision on Hewitt Street.

According to the CHP, the fatal collision happened around 7:40 a.m. at East Seventh and Hewitt streets.

Reports say that the collision involved a motorcycle and a sedan.

Officials say that the impact of the crash ejected the motorcyclist off their vehicle and was seriously hurt.

Authorities pronounced the rider dead at the scene, while the driver of the sedan sustained minor injuries.

CHP is investigating the fatal 2-vehicle collision and have not released further information at this time.
