1 Dead in Phelan Pedestrian Accident near Johnson Road and Daisy Lane

PHELAN, CA (February 6, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a person died in a tragic hit-and-run crash near Johnson Road and Daisy Lane.

The incident happened at about 6:09 a.m. when a vehicle struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Johnson Road and Daisy Lane.

When officers came to the scene, they located the dead pedestrian along southbound Johnson Road, north of Daisy Road.

Meanwhile, the involved driver fled the crash scene. Then, investigators shut down Johnson Road as the scene was processed and evidence was collected.

Furthermore, the authorities have not released the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.

Also, the authorities urged anyone with information on this incident to call the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station at (760) 241-1186.
