1 Killed in Tragic Head-On Collision on Alki Way [Spokane, WA]

Spokane, WA (April 5, 2023) – On Tuesday, a person was killed, and two other people were injured in a head-on collision on Alki Way.

The deadly accident took place at about 8:20 p.m. at the intersection with Broadway.

According to SPD,  a westbound car that was speeding on Broadway lost control at a curve. The vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a truck.

Unfortunately, one occupant of the speeding vehicle died, and two others were transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
