1 Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on Yucca Street [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (June 21, 2024) – A person was killed following a single-vehicle crash on Yucca Street Wednesday.

The traffic accident was reported at about 3t:05 p.m. on June 19, in the 19100 block area.

Investigators said a blue four-door Mini Cooper was eastbound when it left the roadway and crashed through a chain-link fence. The vehicle overturned multiple times across a front yard, and struck the roof of a home before it stopped.

Witnesses pulled the male driver from the vehicle and performed life-saving measures. The unconscious driver was taken by ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital.

Troopers said the vehicle was supposed to have two people in it and they located second occupant in a pile of debris next to a trailer on the property.

 Sadly, the second occupant, also a male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Officers are investigating this fatal crash.
