40-Year-Old Los Angeles Man Fatally Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident near Chino Avenue
ONTARIO, CA (September 18, 2018) – A man was killed in a semi-truck collision on Euclid Avenue, early Tuesday afternoon. The deceased victim was only identified as a 40-year-old Los Angeles man. His name and place of residence were not immediately released to the public, pending notification of next of kin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was speeding eastbound on Chino Avenue at around 12:45 PM when he failed to stop for the red light at the Euclid intersection.
There, his vehicle hit a semi-truck that was headed north on Euclid Ave. The LA man suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. The 38-year-old truck driver from Rialto was not injured in the incident. He remained at the scene and cooperated with officials.
