GARDENA, CA (December 14, 2020) – Saturday evening, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Normandie Avenue in Gardena.
 
According to Gardena police, the incident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. at the 16900 block of Normandie Avenue.
 
Responders transported a person from the scene to a hospital after sustaining major injuries. Moreover, paramedics pronounced the man dead in the hospital later.
 
Also, the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
 
Officers revealed that additional details about the crash remain unavailable. Thus, they continue to investigate the collision.
