1 Dead in Manteca Pedestrian Accident on Highway 120 near Main Street
MANTECA, CA (March 4, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Highway 120 near Main Street Onramp.
A big rig struck a person crossing Highway 120 near the Main Street onramp just after 7:30 a.m.
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined why the person was on the highway. However, CHP said that the person succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile, the City of Manteca owns the big rig involved in the crash.
Furthermore, the authorities closed both lanes of the eastbound Highway 120around 10:99 a.m. Authorities allowed traffic to get by through the center divide.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
