Police Investigate a Fatal Head-On Crash on US 60 in Morristown

Morristown, AZ (December 24, 2021) – Friday morning, one person died and others sustained injuries in a head-on crash on US 60.

The fatal head-on crash in Morristown happened at around 11 a.m. on December 24 near milepost 116.

DPS said a vehicle crossed over into oncoming traffic then hit another car. 

Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle that crossed the centerline died in the crash.

The occupants of the vehicle that was struck also suffered injuries.

It is still unknown what led to this fatal collision or if it was a weather-related incident.

No other details are immediately available.
