1 Dead in Phoenix Auto Accident on 67th Avenue and El Cortez Place

 
PHOENIX, AZ (December 28, 2022) – Monday night, a person died and others suffered injuries in a crash on 67th Avenue and El Cortez Place.
 
The incident that sent four people to the hospital occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Police and firefighters came to the scene at 67th Avenue and El Cortez Place.
 
Upon their arrival, they found four adults, two from each car, with serious injuries.
 
Then, responders took the three men and a woman to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, they later declared a man who was driving one of the cars dead. His identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
According to the police, one of the cars made a left turn from El Cortez Place. Then, another car traveling southbound on 67th Avenue hit the other car.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
