STANFIELD, AZ (September 16, 2021) – Early Wednesday, a person died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 8 and State Route 84.
 
The multi-vehicle accident happened at 3:10 a.m. Moreover, it occurred in westbound Interstate 8 near milepost 155 at the State Route 84 interchange.
 
According to reports, the impact ejected one passenger from one of the overturned vehicles. Responders found the patient on the road and declared that person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took four patients to a hospital in Phoenix. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the extent of their injuries.
 
Moreover, the authorities shut down the westbound lanes of the freeway for most of the morning. However, before noon, the lanes reopened.
