1 Dead in Warden Auto Accident on Road 4-Southeast and Road U-Southeast
WARDEN, WA (October 8, 2024) – Saturday night, a person died in a tractor-trailer crash on Road 4-Southeast and Road U-Southeast.
Reports said that the crash involving a passenger car and a tractor-trailer happened at the intersection of Road 4-Southeast and Road U-Southeast.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has reported that the driver of a passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Their remains have been handed over to the Coroner’s Office, and the family has been informed. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Sheriff’s Office at a later date.
In contrast, the driver of the tractor-trailer, which was transporting onions, escaped the incident without injury. Although the road was initially closed due to the collision, it has been reopened as of 10:15 p.m. on October 5.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Local residents are advised to exercise caution while driving in the vicinity. More updates will follow as additional details emerge.
