1 Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard [Pacoima, CA]

Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Gain Street

 
PACOIMA, CA (June 18, 2019) – The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate a deadly pedestrian crash on Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Tuesday evening.
 
As per reports, the incident happened at about 10:00 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a white van struck a pedestrian near Gain Street.
 
Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene. Authorities withheld the victim’s identity, pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the van driver remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the fatal crash. Investigators encourage witnesses to cooperate as soon as possible. Additional information will be released to the public once it becomes available.
