1 Dead in Bexar County Auto Accident on Zigmont Road and FM 1346

BEXAR COUNTY, TX (November 3, 2024) – Saturday morning, a teenager died in a horrific vehicle crash on Zigmont Road and FM 1346.

The incident occurred just after 12:30 a.m. on Zigmont Road, south of FM 1346 in East Bexar County.

According to reports, a 16-year-old driver is facing charges after performing donuts in a vehicle that eventually overturned.

First responders arrived at the scene to find six teenagers injured in the crash, according to the BCSO. Authorities reported that a 14-year-old boy had been ejected from the vehicle and later succumbed to his injuries. Four others—two more 14-year-olds and two 17-year-olds—were also injured but are expected to recover. 

The driver was arrested and booked into the Bexar County Adult Detention Center on charges of manslaughter and injury to a child.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
