1 Dead in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on E Loop 338 and NE 87th Street

ODESSA, TX (August 11, 2024) – Wednesday night, a person died in a brutal pedestrian crash on E Loop 338 and NE 87th Street.

The incident happened around 10:33 p.m. in E Loop 338 and NE 87th Street.

Following an investigation, the Odessa Police Department reported that a gray Dodge Ram was heading south on the 8100 block of Loop 338 when it struck a pedestrian walking on the road. 

Furthermore, the pedestrian, identified as a 15-year-old girl from Odessa, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
