EUREKA, CA (May 23, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a person died in a brutal pedestrian crash on 7th Street and I Street.

The crash happened at around 1:55 p.m. on 7th Street and I Street in Eureka

According to reports, a pedestrian was struck at 9th and I Street, and then four cars were involved in a crash just north of the 7th and I intersection.

After the crash, responders took two people to the hospital with serious injuries. Meanwhile, at 4:05 p.m., the authorities confirmed that the incident led to a fatality.
