Phoenix, AZ (October 9, 2024) – On Tuesday night, a male bicyclist died in a crash on 32nd Street and Greenway Road.

Reportedly, a car struck a man on a bicycle Tuesday night in north Phoenix, and he later died from his injuries, according to police. 

The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. near 32nd Street and Greenway Road, and the vehicle was reportedly driven by a teenage boy, Phoenix Police reported.

The driver initially fled the scene but contacted police shortly afterward. 

Authorities are waiting to reconstruct the crash before deciding on charges, and they do not believe impairment was a factor. 

The identity of the deceased man has not yet been released.
