1 Killed in 7-Vehicle Crash on Highway 14 [Camas, WA]

Camas, WA (August 24, 2024) – A person was killed while others were injured in a 7-vehicle crash on Highway 14 Thursday.

The freeway’s westbound lanes were blocked after a manufactured home got stuck between railings on the Camas Slough Bridge.

Afterward, a vehicle behind the stuck manufactured home attempted to make a U-turn which resulted in a seven-vehicle crash. 

Sadly, traffic crews confirmed that a person died and two people were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

Traffic officers advised motorists to expect delays and use alternate routes.

The authorities did not say when the highway will reopen.

Meanwhile, the fatal vehicle crash on Highway 14 is under investigation.
