1 Dead in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on Vermont Avenue and Venice Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 13, 2022) – Early this month, a person died following a hit-and-run crash on Vermont Avenue and Venice Boulevard.
The incident happened last December 2, just after 3:00 a.m. on Vermont Avenue, north of Venice Boulevard.
According to reports, a silver Mercedes C Class, four-door sedan, traveled northbound on Vermont Avenue. Then, the driver struck a pedestrian.
“The driver of the Mercedes Benz fled the area without identifying themselves or rendering aid to the victim, as required by law,” an LAPD news said.
Meanwhile, first responders with the Los Angeles Fire Department took the pedestrian to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to injuries three days later.
Furthermore, they urged anyone who witnessed the incident to call West Traffic Division Detectives at 213-473-0222. Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or online at L.A. Crime Stoppers.
Also, the authorities set up a reward of up to $50,000 to community members that give information leading to the offender’s identification, apprehension, and conviction or a resolution through a civil compromise.
