1 Dead in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on Vermont Avenue and 149th Street
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (March 13, 2022) – Saturday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Vermont Avenue and 149th Street.
The incident happened at around 6:15 p.m. on Vermont Avenue and 149th Street. According to reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian. After the crash, responders took the patient to a nearby hospital.
However, the pedestrian later succumbed to her injuries. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed her identity due to pending family notification.
Meanwhile, the preliminary investigation confirmed that a Toyota Prius struck the pedestrian while using the crosswalk.
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
