1 Dead in Simi Valley Auto Accident on Santa Susana Pass Road and Box Canyon Road

 
SIMI VALLEY, CA (December 26, 2022) – Sunday night, a person died in a rollover crash on Santa Susana Pass Road and Box Canyon Road.
 
The incident happened at about 6:35 p.m. on Santa Susana Pass Road, just east of Box Canyon Road.
 
According to reports, a car veered off the road and rolled 300 feet downhill.
 
When the Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter crew arrived, they rescued the pinned driver inside. Then, they took him to a hospital in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the passenger dead at the scene.
 
“From my understanding, one of the parties called the family, and the family ended up locating the vehicle,” Timothy Wren with CHP said.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
