1 Dead and 1 Injured in Cathedral City Motorcycle Accident on Ramon Road and Crossley Road

 
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (May 16, 2022) – Sunday, a person died in a hit-and-run crash on Ramon Road and Crossley Road.
 
The incident happened at around 1:20 a.m. on Ramon Road and Crossley Road. As the motorcyclist traveled west on Ramon Road, an eastbound pickup truck turned from Ramon Road onto Crossley. Then, the vehicle struck the motorcycle.
 
When the authorities arrived, they located the male driver and female passenger of the motorcycle on the road. Both of them suffered major injuries. Thus, responders took both of them to Desert Regional Medical Center. However, the driver later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the passenger was listed in critical but stable condition.
 
After the crash, the truck fled the scene and headed west on Ramon Road.
