1 Dead in Oxnard Motorcycle Accident on Oxnard Boulevard near Colonia Road

 
OXNARD, CA (November 15, 2022) – Monday morning, a person died in a motorcycle crash on Oxnard Boulevard near Colonia Road.
 
The incident happened at about 5:48 a.m. on the northbound side of Oxnard Boulevard near Colonia Road.
 
According to reports, a motorcyclist rode a 2014 Harley Davidson north on Oxnard Boulevard. Then, he struck a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup as it turned onto Oxnard Boulevard from Palm Drive.
 
When paramedics arrived, they declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the pickup driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the police.
 
Also, the incident shut down both northbound lanes of Oxnard Boulevard at Colonia Road for at least five hours.
 
By 11:30 a.m., all lanes have since reopened.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs, alcohol, or speed played a role in the crash.
