Wentzville Woman Dead After Crash on Veterans Memorial Parkway

St Louis, Mo (December 14, 2024) – A Wentzville woman died early Saturday in a car crash on Veterans Memorial Parkway.

The collision occurred at 2:15 a.m, east of the intersection with Lake St. Louis Boulevard.

A 62-year-old woman, the victim, was a passenger in a car that turned left from a private drive into the path of an approaching SUV. 

The SUV struck the car on the passenger side, sending both vehicles either fully or partially off opposite sides of the road.

Emergency responders transported the woman to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Authorities confirmed she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The car’s driver, a 69-year-old man from Troy, sustained moderate injuries and was also taken to a hospital. 

The SUV driver suffered minor injuries, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
