1 Dead in Palm Springs Auto Accident on North Palm Canyon Drive and Alejo Road
PALM SPRINGS, CA (December 28, 2021) – Monday night, a person died in a DUI multi-vehicle crash on North Palm Canyon Drive and Alejo Road.
The incident occurred at 5:40 p.m. on North Palm Canyon Drive and Alejo Road. As a result, one person died and six others required hospitalization. Also, authorities arrested one driver on suspicion of a DUI.
“An impaired person driving under the influence collided with three different cars. Then, it sent at least seven people to the hospital,” Police Chief Andy Mills said.
One of the seven people died at the hospital. Meanwhile, the other person sustained major injuries. Also, the authorities had the DUI suspect in custody and were hoping to speak with him.
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
