1 Dead in Scottsdale Pedestrian Accident on Loop 101 and Cactus Road
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (April 21, 2022) – Early Wednesday, a person died in a pedestrian crash on Loop 101 and Cactus Road.
The crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. on south Loop 101 and Cactus Road. Moreover, officers confirmed that a dump truck hit a pedestrian at milepost 37 near Scottsdale.
Department spokesperson Bart Graves said, “Preliminary information indicated a pedestrian was struck on the freeway by a dump truck.”
According to reports, a Cadillac Escalade was parked on the shoulder nearby.
At this time, the identity of the deceased remains undisclosed.
