OAKLAND, CA (June 27, 2022) – Sunday, a person died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 and Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge.
 
The incident occurred just before 9:00 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 lanes. According to reports, the crash involved a small sedan that went off the right-hand side. Then, it overturned and officers also found a second vehicle sideways in the slow or right-most lane
 
Then, responders declared one person dead at the scene. At this time, their identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification.
 
Meanwhile, the CHP issued a Sig-alert and blocked off the Nos. 3, 4, and 5 lanes to traffic to allow for an investigation into the incident.
