One Dies in Crash on Interstate 10 in Chiriaco Summit

Chiriaco Summit, CA (August 12, 2022) – On Friday, one person died in a crash on westbound Interstate 10 east of Summit Road.

The fatal crash in Chiriaco Summit happened at around 4:55 p.m. on August 12. 

CAL Fire responded to the crash and contained the fire. One person was confirmed dead after the collision. 

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
