1 Dead in Bakersfield Truck Accident on Highway 58 and Tucker Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 6, 2022) – Saturday night, a person died in a wrong-way crash on Highway 58 and Tucker Road.
The incident involving a pickup truck and two semi-trucks happened just before 10:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred in westbound lanes of Highway 58 about a mile west of the Tucker Road offramp.
According to reports, the pickup truck headed east in westbound lanes before crashing into a semi-truck.
Also, the incident blocked the westbound traffic at Tucker Road in Tehachapi during the investigation. Caltrans diverted the traffic.
Furthermore, authorities requested a coroner to the scene.
