SAN GREGORIO, CA (June 27, 2022) – Saturday night, a person died in a bicycle crash on Highway 1 and Stage Road.
 
The incident occurred just after 6:16 p.m. on Highway 1 and Stage Road. According to reports, the bicyclist headed north on Highway 1. Then, a gray Nissan Altima traveled north on the highway at an unsafe speed.
 
Then, the driver lost control and veered into the bike lane. After the impact, the bicyclist went down an embankment. Eventually, the Nissan spun into the oncoming lane and crashed with a blue Subaru Outback.
 
Responders took the drivers of both cars to the hospital in unknown condition.
