1 Dead in Castaic Big Rig Accident on Golden State Freeway
CASTAIC, CA (September 17, 2020) – Wednesday morning, a person died in a crash on Golden State Freeway in Castaic.
The collision between a big rig and a car carrier happened just after midnight. The incident took place on the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway near the Parker Road off-ramp.
The crash scattered debris on the northbound lanes of the freeway. Meanwhile, authorities shut down the road until further notice beginning at Halsey Canyon Road. The authorities also diverted the traffic off the freeway.
