1 Dead in Perris Pedestrian Accident near D Street and Interstate 215

 
PERRIS, CA (December 8, 2022) – Tuesday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash near D Street and Interstate 215.
 
The incident happened at around 6:45 p.m. near the D Street exit ramp from southbound Interstate 215.
 
According to reports, the crash happened as the victim crossed D Street. Meanwhile, a motorist exited the freeway and entered the two-lane corridor.
 
Then, the 37-year-old driver failed to stop in time to prevent hitting the man. Officers noted that the pedestrian crossed the roadway where there is no crosswalk.
 
Despite life-saving measures, the victim died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the sheriff’s Perris Station at 951-210-1000.
