1 Dead in Visalia Pedestrian Accident on County Center Drive and Victor Avenue
VISALIA, CA (February 10, 2022) – Wednesday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on County Center Drive and Victor Avenue.
The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. when a person tried to chase a loose dog. Then, a car struck and killed that person on County Center Drive and Victor Avenue.
When the officers arrived, they located a person down in the road and declared that person dead at the scene.
Officers also confirmed that as the person walked a dog on a leash, it slipped away. Then, the dog run across the street and the owner tried to catch the dog. However, a car struck the person whose identity remains undisclosed as of this time.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash. However, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
