Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash at Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street
CHERRY VALLEY, CA (November 04, 2019) — A crash at Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street claimed a person’s life Friday morning.
The incident occurred at about 7:25 a.m. about a mile west of Beaumont High School. It involved three vehicles, according to police.
An investigation showed that a Range Rover struck a black Mazda Miata at the intersection. The Mazda then went out of control and was subsequently T-boned by a Hyundai Santa Fe.
The man Driving the Mazda died at the scene. On the other hand, the people in the other vehicles were not injured.
The police closed the intersection of Cherry Valley Boulevard and Union Street for several hours.
The name of the victim was not immediately released. The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
