The incident happened at around 9:12 p.m. on Capitol Expressway near Tuers Road.
According to reports, a 2007 Nissan sedan driver traveled in the westbound lanes. Then, the driver struck a male bicyclist as the rider crossed traffic lanes from north to south.
As a result, the bicyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
