The incident happened at around 10:50 p.m. on 5 Freeway and 605 Freeway.
According to reports, a gray Nissan Altima fell down a 200-yard embankment. As a result, responders transported three people to an area trauma center. However, one of them succumbed to their injuries.
Also, firefighters confirmed that the crash ejected two people from the Nissan while the other was trapped.
