EAGLE ROCK, CA (July 20, 2022) – Sunday night, a person died in a pedestrian crash on 134 Freeway and Figueroa Street.
 
The incident occurred at 11:38 p.m. on the eastbound 134 Freeway, west of Figueroa Street.
 
According to reports, a motorist thought that they crashed with a large animal. However, when officers arrived, they found out that the gray Hyundai Veloster struck a pedestrian.
 
Thus, authorities closed all eastbound freeway lanes at Harvey Drive.
