1 Dead in Thurston County Car Accident
THURSTON COUNTY, WA (March 24, 2020) – A person died in a car accident on Moon Road and Highway 12 in Thurston County on March 8.
Reports revealed that at around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, a 67-year-old man was traveling south on Moon Road Southwest.
According to troopers, the man then made a left turn on eastbound Highway 12 in Thurston County. At the same time, another vehicle was traveling west on the same highway.
The second car then hit the side of the 67-year-old man’s vehicle. As a result, the man succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision and the authorities declared him dead at the scene.
As of this time, the authorities are still investigating the fatal car collision.
Moreover, the second vehicle’s driver, a 52-year-old man from Oakville, also sustained injuries, and was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital.
The collision shut down Highway 12 for more than three hours, the State Patrol revealed.
