1 Dead in Bakersfield Auto Accident on 100 Albany Street

BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 28, 2024) – Saturday morning, a person died in a brutal 2-vehicle crash on 100 Albany Street.

The incident happened at about 8:05 a.m. in the 100 block of Albany Street.

Upon officers’ arrival, they located two vehicles involved in the crash.

Furthermore, the Kern County Fire Department and Hall Ambulance also came to the scene.

Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the female driver of a maroon Hyundai SUV was declared dead at the scene.

Also, the vehicle driver has been cooperative with the investigation. Meanwhile, the authorities also ruled out drugs and/or alcohol as factors in this crash.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information related to the crash to contact the Delano Police Department at (661) 721-3377.
