1 Dead in Vancouver Bicycle Accident on Northeast 112th Avenue
VANCOUVER, WA (March 2, 2023) – Tuesday night, a person died in a bicycle crash on Northeast 112th Avenue.
The incident involving an automobile and a bicycle happened at 7:22 p.m. in the 99 block of Northeast 112th Avenue.
According to some witnesses, the automobile driver had a green light to enter the intersection. Then, the 58-year-old entered and crossed the street outside of the crosswalk before the crash.
Despite life-saving measures, the bicyclist succumbed to injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
Also, officers found no signs that the driver was impaired.
Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to the pending family notification.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
