1 Killed Another Injured in Highway 290 Collision [Austin, TX]

Austin, TX (March 15, 2024) -A man was killed and another was injured following a Highway 290 collision Friday morning.

It was about 6:15 a.m. when the collision happened near 8700-9114 East US 290 east of Highway 183. Troopers said it is possible that multiple vehicles were involved in this crash.

Responding officers declared a person dead at the scene and the medical team rushed another person to Dell Seton Hospital with potentially serious injuries.

The Austin Police Department officers are investigating this collision.
