1 Dead in Winnetka Pedestrian Crash on Winnetka Avenue near John A Sutter Middle School
WINNETKA, CA (January 18, 2022) – Monday night, a person died in a hit-and-run accident on Winnetka Avenue near John A Sutter Middle School.
According to reports, the crash happened at around 6:20 p.m. on Winnetka Avenue near John A. Sutter Middle School.
When the authorities arrived, they located a body of a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle.
The authorities declared that person dead at the scene.
Eventually, one of the three drivers who hit the victim returned to the scene. Then, authorities arrested that person on charges of felony hit-and-run.
At this time, the authorities continue to search for potentially two additional drivers also involved in the incident.
Also, the authorities withheld the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
