Deadly Los Angeles Bicycle Crash on Pacific Coast Highway
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 22, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a person died in a bicycle accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
The crash between a bicyclist and a vehicle happened around 4:20 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway.
As a result, responders declared one person dead at the scene. Also, the incident led to the closure of all lanes of the Pacific Coast Highway for several hours.
Thus, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department advised motorists to use alternate routes.
At about 8:00 p.m., one lane reopened. Then, by 10:00 p.m., all lanes reopened.
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
