38-Year-Old Victim Killed in Clallam Collision near Louella Road
CLALLAM, WA (February 28, 2020) – One person died and six people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 101, on February 23.
Three vehicles were involved. Washington State Patrol revealed that a Subaru Impreza traveled west on Highway 101. As it waited to turn onto Louella Road, a Buick SUV struck its rear and pushed it into a Subaru Forester.
The multi-vehicle accident killed the 38-year-old passenger of the Subaru Impreza. Meanwhile, responders transported six others to the hospital. Their condition and the extent of their injuries remains undisclosed as of this time.
Meanwhile, authorities also said that the Buick SUV and Subaru Impreza drivers may have been under the influence.
Officers are still conducting an investigation to identify the cause of the collision.
As a result of the crash, there was significant traffic backup in both directions of Highway 101 and Louella Road. These roads have since reopened.
