Police Investigate Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 17 in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (August 11, 2022) – Thursday night, one person died, and five others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 17.

The fatal multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix happened on August 11.

Phoenix Fire said one person died and a total of five people, two children, and three adults, were taken to the hospital in either critical or extremely critical condition.

Aerial footage shows one car on its side against a barrier. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved at this time.

Moreover, police are still investigating what led to the deadly crash.
