1 Killed in 3-Vehicle Collision on Manning Avenue [Parlier, CA]

Parlier, CA (February 1, 2024) – A person was killed following a 3-vehicle collision on Manning Avenue early Wednesday morning.

The CHP troopers responded to the fatal collision on Riverbend Avenue.

According to the authorities, a Jeep Cherokee speeding west on Manning Avenue unsafely cut off a Honda Civic.

The Jeep clipped the front of the Honda and the Jeep spun out of control from the westbound to the eastbound lane.

Afterward, the Jeep collided head-on with a Honda Accord which caused the Jeep to overturn and erupt in flames.

The Honda driver pulled the Jeep driver from the fiery crash. 

The responding medical team rushed the Jeep driver to the hospital.

Officers said each driver was the sole occupant of their vehicle.

Troopers believe speed played a role in this traffic accident.
