Police Investigate Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 in Tonopah

Tonopah, AZ (October 6, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, one person died, and three others sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 10.

The fatal crash in Tonopah happened at around 4 a.m. on October 6, near milepost 99, which is near Tonopah/Wintersburg.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials said the collision involved two vehicles. 

EMS took three injured patients to a hospital in unknown condition. Officers pronounced one person dead at the scene.

No other information is immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
