Fatal Seattle Pedestrian Accident on Aurora Avenue
SEATTLE, WA (December 10, 2019) – A person died and three sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Aurora Avenue on November 29.
According to reports, the woman drove north near North 40th Street when she hit the pedestrians about 1:00 p.m., Seattle Police spokesman Patrick Michaud revealed.
The car struck a pole and overturn back into the road, stopping by the median. The driver then went out of the car with minor injuries and fled.
However, a witness followed her and reported her to the officers.
Meanwhile, Seattle Fire spokesman Lance Garland revealed that one person died at the scene. In addition, three others went to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
The injured consists of a 35-year-old man and a 25-year-old man with critical injuries, and a 63-year-old man in stable condition.
Police did not release any additional information.
