CHP Investigates Fatal Crash on Highway 36 in Dinsmore

Dinsmore, CA (September 1, 2022) – Thursday afternoon, one person died, and three others sustained severe injuries in a crash on Highway 36.

The fatal crash in Dinsmore happened at 3:50 p.m. on September 1.

Reportedly, the collision involved a blue pickup truck and a motorcycle.

CHP said there is a total of four patients–two were transported by ambulance to Redwood Memorial Hospital, one was taken via copter to Mercy Hospital in Redding and one is now deceased.

No identities of the people involved are immediately available.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
